What treatment is the best?
Different modalities of TCM treatment method could be use depending on your chief complaint or concern. Please feel free to contact me before you book your first appointment and I can help you to choose the most suitable treatment to begin with.

What to prepare before coming in?
During the consultation we will discuss about your health concerns, and there will be questions related to your symptoms and complains. The more details you provide would help me better determine the cause and provide a suitable treatment plan, so knowing about yourself is the most important. Take note of triggers/frequency/severity of your symptoms and that would help me to understand your body more.

What to expect in first treatment?
Your first visit begins with a detailed consultation session, where I will perform a thorough questionnaire and physical examination with you. Most questions revolves around your symptoms, medical history and lifestyle habits. We then discuss your health goals and I will explain the proposed treatment plans for you.

What to wear when coming in for treatment?
Wear anything comfortable and easy to change for you. Cupping therapy would be done on the back muscles, sport bra is not recommended during the treatment. For facial acupuncture treatment, please do not wear any make up.

Is acupuncture right for me?
While acupuncture is great for all musculoskeletal related problems such as muscle pain, joint stiffness, spasm or numbness, it is also used for regaining the balance of your body to help treating various internal conditions, including digestive, endocrine, nervous, cardiovascular, urinary, reproductive systems. Acupuncture is a suitable for everyone including children and elderly. If you are afraid of needles, there are other needle-less treatment alternatives we can offer.

Is herbal medicine right for me?
One great thing about herb is it could be tailored to meet anyone’s need. Dosage and choice of herb is prescribed base on individual and it is very safe if administered correctly. Herbal medicine comes in different forms including raw herbs, granules, tablets and pills. I will be helping you to choose the most suitable solution that best match with your body condition or lifestyles.

Is Acupuncture/TCM safe during pregnancy?
Acupuncture and herbal medicine is actually very effective in relieving pregnancy related symptoms such as morning sickness and insomnia. Cervical ripening acupuncture treatment can begin around week 36 to help achieve a smooth delivery.
